Take Charge of Your Life and Money
Do you ever feel like your money controls your life? Do you have a lot of things that you would like to do but somehow never seem to find the time or money? If this is the case, the best way to take charge of your life and your money is to have a plan.
Instead of thinking about your money as just something to spend, think about making your money work for you. The way to get to that point starts with three steps:
- Define your financial goals.
- Make plans to reach your goals.
- Take action until your goals become a reality.
The purpose of writing down your goals (or even typing them electronically) is that the likelihood of accomplishing your goals increases dramatically simply by recording your goals. When you leave your goals in your mind, chances are that is where they will stay as it is too easy to become distracted by other things.
To help make it a little easier for you to record your goals, I’ve created a very basic little spreadsheet for you to download. It has four basic columns: one for your goal, one for a dollar amount needed, one for the date to accomplish this goal and one for specific action steps to take. The spreadsheet has a sample entry to help you get started.
What financial goals do you have? Download the spreadsheet now and take the first step towards achieving your goals and taking charge of your life and money.
