How Safe is Your Bank?

From time to time, I like to spend a little bit of time and review the institutions with which I do business and see if there are better alternatives. One valuable resource in reviewing my banking options is Bankrate.com’s Safe & Sound service.
Safe & Sound is a proprietary product that evaluates the financial condition of banks, thrifts and credit unions. Take a few minutes to review the ratings for the banks you are using to see how they stack up and whether you might benefit from trying a new bank.
