Cool, I’ll have to look into the 3-way bulbs as I would like to get the CFL bulbs in those lamps.

I know they do have them in 3-way styles, I just haven’t gotten one of those…as far as for the dimmer switch I don’t think they have one that would work with that.

It is possible…I haven’t done much reading on the various CFL bulbs that are available.

I need to look if they have a CFL that can be used in a 3-way lamp. I don’t think they have that style of CFL but I am not positive. Right now we don’t have CFL bulbs in our 3-way lamps or the dining room light that is on a dimmer switch.

I wonder if there is a difference between some of the CFL bulbs and others. Maybe they use a different gas inside them or something?

Really? When I flip the switch there is a very slight delay that is not present with standard light bulbs.

We had recently switched a good number of our bulbs over to CFL and are very pleased with the change.

The slight delay when you turn on the light took a little time to get used to and it would be nice if we could use them in our dining room with the dimmer switch but all is good so far.

Sounds like a good deal, except I’m nowhere near Illinois.

I have to say though, I am a fan of the CFL bulbs. I feel like they give off “cleaner” light. The only two bulbs in my apartment that are not CFL are the porch light outside (which has been on for maybe 10 hours total in the past year) and the 3-way bulb in the lamp beside my couch.
