@JR: I would agree with you that money is a tool and I don’t think I have given the impression that I think otherwise but let me know.

I agree with you that money can make some things better, or easier to deal with, but it will not guarantee you happiness. Money can certainly consume you to the point where it damages your life.

I know we’re all about sharing ideas here but for the sake of time I’ll just say that I”m in the belief money is a tool. Not the keeper of happiness although it can make things better.

Alot of my beliefs about money are rooted in the laws of attraction. The way you think is the way you live.

Having a “lack” mentality, like you’re missing something or you better get this or else…, leads to corruption, even on a grand scale like corrupt governments. Why do leaders of nations go so far to take??

An abundance mentality says there’s always more. You dont’ need to get this or that right now. And even futher yet, the principle of giving does give more to manage. It’s proven, and even very affluent people know this princple to be true.

But in the end, the wealth of the wicked is layed up for the righteous. So, generations that horde will only save it up for generations that use it. No biggy! It’s cool.

@JR: To be honest, I think once you have learned the basics of money management, things can be more on auto-pilot where you don’t even have to think about it.

It can take some time to get to that point though. What did you have in mind about a better way?
